The Consortium Research Fellows Program (CRFP)

Created to enrich your higher education experience, the Consortium Research Fellows Program employs emerging researchers across the country. Join hundreds of students in the pursuit of research knowledge and skills, educational development, and career preparation in applied research organizational settings.

USIP Research Assistant Program

USIP Research Assistants (RAs) provide support on a variety of tasks and projects. These can range from in-depth study of a particular issue or geography, support to a fellow or expert, advancing specific team goals, or broad support to an entire program. They are paid between $14.00-$14.75 per hour and work an average of 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during summer and school breaks. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to fill program needs. Interviews begin for RA positions one to two months before the anticipated start date.

Only full-time students from universities belonging to the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area (CUWMA) can be considered for these openings. CUWMA members include:
