Employment
The CRFP is actively recruiting qualified graduate students and postdoctoral fellow candidates. Graduate students must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher learning in the United States, must be full U.S. citizens, and must be willing to commit to a research fellowship for a minimum of one year.
Postdoctoral fellows will have completed their PhD program within the past four years at an accredited institution of higher learning. Postdoctoral fellows must be full U.S. citizens and must be willing to commit to a research fellowship for a minimum of one year. However, postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to apply to full-time federal government positions at the agency in which they are placed at any time during the fellowship.
All qualified candidates are required to complete a security background check, obtain a federal government Common Access Card, and maintain that card during their fellowship.
All CRFP research fellows are required to perform work at our sponsoring agencies’ office locations. We do not have remote work positions, currently. Work schedules are implemented to allow student fellows sufficient flexibility to attend courses and complete all other academic work towards a degree.
Qualified candidates may be asked to provide additional documentation (e.g., transcripts, writing samples, letters of recommendation). All candidates will be interviewed by the CRFP’s Director or Deputy Director. The CRFP will arrange subsequent interviews with candidates and government researchers and personnel. Research fellowship assessment and selection results will be given in a timely manner.
