The Nation’s Flagship

Yes, you can afford college!
  • It’s not too late to apply for federal student aid and there is still money available. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)® gives you access to federal, state, and school financial aid, including grants and scholarships. Financial aid counselors are available to give you FREE support for completing the FAFSA®!
  • It’s not too late to apply to schools. Several colleges in our area may still be enrolling students for the Fall.
Completing the FAFSA® is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Gather your documents and information. You will need:

      • Your social security number or your A-Number (if you’re not a U.S. citizen)
      • Financial information based on your dependency status. You’ll need federal income tax returns; records of child support received; current balance of cash, savings, and checking accounts
      • Bank statements and records of investments, businesses, and farms (if applicable)
      • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
      • An FSA ID (account username and password) to log in to StudentAid.gov and start the FAFSA form electronically

2. Get free, one-on-one help from a financial aid counselor experienced in FAFSA® completion. Send an email or a text to ask a question or to request a virtual appointment if you need help. Appointments are 45-60 minutes in length. Contact us and a representative will respond to you within 24 hours.

3. Sign and submit the FAFSA® form. Check your email regularly for any messages from the U.S. Department of Education or your college or career school.
