U.S. Institute of Peace Research Assistantship Program
Each year the Jennings Randolph Fellowship Program of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) hosts a group of distinguished academics and practitioners as Senior Fellows. Senior Fellows spend from a few months to a year at the Institute conducting research on various aspects of non-military alternatives to the resolution of international conflict. The Consortium/USIP Research Assistantship Program offers student research assistantships with the USIP's Jennings Randolph Program. USIP also has occasional openings for Research Assistants in other departments such as Rule of Law, Education, Training, Communications, Research and Studies, and Publications and Marketing.
Working through the Consortium, USIP gains highly qualified students to meet the agency's research needs on an ongoing basis. This program is an excellent way to expand the opportunities available for students to participate in research pertinent to their academic programs. Further, it provides graduate students enrolled at member institutions with the rare experience of working directly with internationally renown peace scholars from all over the world.
