ComputerLand of Silicon Valley, ( www.uscollegebuy.com, 800.639.1319,  edusales@cland.com) is an Authorized Education Reseller managing the Consortium Microsoft Campus and Select Agreements as well as other products and services. They deliver personalized attention, detailed license management, comprehensive purchase tracking and cost-effective access to the latest technology solutions.

Microsoft Consortium Campus Agreement

This agreement is available to any DC Consortium member that signs an enrollment participation form at the beginning of the three-year contract period. Due to the volume generated by the Consortium, this three-year subscription agreement with annual renewal orders offers more cost effective pricing than a school would qualify for individually. If your school is not yet participating in the Consortium Campus Agreement, please contact ComputerLand regarding how you can synch up and participate in the Consortium agreement in future. This is an excellent solution for licensing campus-wide desktop products as well as individual server products.

Consortium Campus Agreement Licensing offers:

Easy compliance. Because all of your institution's computers and users are covered throughout the subscription term, it's easy to ensure that your institution is fully licensed for use of the Campus Agreement products you've selected.

Low administration. Subscription licensing helps eliminate the need to track licenses for individual Campus Agreement licensed products on every computer. This is especially helpful for managing software assets in a decentralized environment.

Current technology. With subscription licensing programs, your users can run the most current version of the software products included in your agreement, and your institution automatically receives media for products that upgrade during your agreement term.

Simple budgeting and purchasing. One annual payment covers all of the Campus Agreement products you've selected for the year.

Excellent value. In addition to the lower cost of your desktop licensing via the consortium, by standardizing on a platform of products, you reduce your total cost of ownership while helping to increase productivity and access to current technology. You also get the benefits of Software Assurance Membership, and one complimentary MSDN Academic Alliance membership.

Work-at-home rights for faculty and staff. Faculty and staff can purchase media for work-at-home use to run the desktop products for which they are licensed at work. This benefit is administered for the consortium by the Foundation for California Community Colleges and can be ordered via their website http://old.foundationccc.org/msca/default.aspx.

Microsoft Academic Select Agreement

This agreement is available to all schools in the Consortium without the need to sign any contract (the Consortium has done this for you). This program allows any member school to purchase individual product licenses for desktop, developer or server products on an as needed basis with no minimum number of licenses required. This is a three year agreement offering perpetual licenses for the version purchased, with the option of adding Software Assurance to the license at the time of purchase. Software Assurance (SA) will cover upgrades to the license until the end of the agreement term, at which time you may renew the SA for another 3 full years.

Academic Select Licensing offers:

Simple, convenient license acquisition

Low per license pricing

Increased value with the Software Assurance option
