Emergency Preparedness

The Consortium’s Emergency Managers’ Committee is comprised of campus emergency managers, public safety directors, risk managers and others who have the responsibility for ensuring the safety of their campus communities.  Working with each other and federal, state, and local partners, this group meets regularly to network and develop plans in the event of an emergency that could impact an individual campus or multiple campuses.   Through these meetings, conference calls and the Consortium emergency management listserv maintained by The George Washington University, information is available to members without delay.    For further information about the Emergency Managers’ Committee, contact Catherine Blessing at blessing@consortium.org.
